== History ==
Devaron is enjoying a stretch of comparative calm while keeping out of the galaxy's attention. Devaronian culture, noted for a wandering, adventurous character, adjusted to the shifting galactic situation. The natives stayed fiercely independent but were still pulled into the war that pitted the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire. In this era, Devaron's old Jedi Temple, called the Temple of Eedit, grew into an important destination for people looking for knowledge of the Force. Both Jedi and Sith were drawn to the site, and this produced several clashes and encounters. Even as the fighting grew worse, Devaron kept its cultural heritage and a measure of self-rule despite worsening unrest across the galaxy.<ref name="patch" />
