Ilum is a world in the Unknown Regions sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion. In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Corstris in the original game.

Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, cold, tundra and forests. Its species are listed as Human. Its economy is listed as kyber crystals. It sits at grid reference G-7 and has 0 hyperlanes.

History
Ilum kept its historic importance as a sacred site for building lightsabers. The planet is abundant in kyber crystals, the chief ingredient in powering a lightsaber, and Jedi had long come there to make their own weapons. When the Galactic Empire rose and the Jedi Order was destroyed, though, Ilum's importance faded. The Empire mined its resources and tried to use kyber crystals for several purposes, superweapons among them. With the Galactic Civil War still dragging on, Ilum stayed an important though disputed supply of these rare and potent crystals.
