Assault Transport is an Imperial capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia explains that its purpose is rapid deployment of Imperial assault troops to any point in the galaxy, needing few or no escorts. Although it holds just a single regiment, its weapons, speed, and agility are enough to hit weakly guarded systems on its own, and its hyperdrive is the quickest to be had.[1] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch replaces it with a different ship design, the Gladiator Star Destroyer, and keeps its stats.[2]
In the game
The Assault Transport costs 12 refined materials to build and 29 to maintain. It has a fighter capacity of 0 and a troop capacity of 1. Its shields have a strength of 300.[1] The infobox values come from the game data.[3]
The manual's ship table gives the same capacity: 0 fighters and 1 troop.[4]
