The MC80a HomeOne Cruiser is the name the 25th Anniversary Community Patch gives to the Dauntless Cruiser, a Alliance capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] The ship keeps its original game data, so its figures are the same as on the original page.[2]
In the patch
The patch describes it as the MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser and lists its length as 1,400 meters. The patch names its builder as Mon Calamari Shipyards.[1]
History
The MC80 star cruiser holds a pivotal place in the Rebel Alliance fleet. Its distinctive organic appearance came to symbolize the craftsmanship of the Mon Calamari. The flagship Home One, under Admiral Ackbar, became a symbol of hope and endurance for the Rebellion. Advanced shielding and a varied set of weapons let the class stand up to Imperial forces. Ships of the Home One type were central to major battles, among them the decisive Battle of Endor, and helped bring about the Empire's fall and a return to peace in the galaxy.[1]
