Imperial Probe Droid is an Imperial special forces unit in Star Wars: Rebellion. The Empire designed it for reconnaissance and information gathering. Each droid rides in a small hyperspace-capable pod, so it can cross the galaxy without being carried by a capital ship.[1]
In the game
It costs 1 refined materials to train and 1 to maintain.[1] The infobox values come from the game data.[2] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch update does not rewrite this data file.[3]
When the Empire is playing, probe droids carry out reconnaissance in place of Longprobes.[4] Along with Longprobe teams, they are the only units that can run a Reconnaissance mission against an unexplored system.[5]
