Death Star Shield is an Imperial planetary defense facility in Star Wars: Rebellion. It is a planetary shield generator built to surround the Death Star with protection while the station is in the system. Huge power generators and a projection dish form a nearly impenetrable bubble of energy, and while it runs nothing can directly harm the Death Star.[1]
In the game
It costs 25 refined materials to build and 20 to maintain.[1] The infobox values come from the game data.[2] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch update does not rewrite this data file.[3]
Only the Empire can use it, and the manual calls it a foolproof defense against fighters attacking a Death Star.[4]
