'''Coruscant''' is a star system in the [[Sesswenna sector]] of ''[[Star Wars: Rebellion]]''. For generations it has been the seat of galactic government. One enormous multileveled city, Imperial City, covers the whole surface; its foundations date back to the start of the Old Republic, more than a thousand generations ago. The pyramid-shaped Imperial Palace, the Emperor's home and an impregnable fortress, is built of gray-green stone and glittering crystal and rises above every other building, the Senate included. The deepest, darkest levels of the city were abandoned long ago and now hold discarded equipment, wrecked starships, and nameless subhumans slipping through the shadows.<ref name="ency" />

Coruscant is a star system in the Sesswenna sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. The galaxy's government has been headquartered there for many generations. A single vast city of many levels, Imperial City, blankets the planet's whole surface, and its foundations were laid when the Old Republic began, over a thousand generations back. Towering over every other structure, the Senate building included, is the pyramid-shaped Imperial Palace: the Emperor's residence and an impregnable fortress, built from gray-green stone and sparkling crystal. Long ago the city's lowest, darkest levels were abandoned; today nameless subhumans slip through the shadows among wrecked starships and discarded equipment.[1]

In the game

Coruscant is a Core system.[1][2] Its sector is used in every galaxy size.[3][4] The patch also has a world of the same name in a different place: Coruscant (patch version).[5]

In every new game the population of Coruscant is fully loyal to the Empire.[6] The Emperor begins there.[7] While he is on the planet itself, free, and the Empire holds it, every Imperial character receives a leadership bonus.[8] The Alliance wins by seizing and keeping Coruscant together with the Emperor and Darth Vader.[9]
