Malastare is a world in the Mid Rim South sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Cathar in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, forests and rocky. Its species are listed as Dug (native), Gran and Human. Its economy is listed as pixelito and malastarian fuel. It sits at grid reference N-16 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Malastare enjoys a stretch of relative calm. Podracing remains a draw, bringing racers and spectators from far-off systems and giving the world a feel of ordinary life while the rest of the galaxy is in turmoil. Local officials work hard to balance the competing interests found on the planet, among them powerful corporations that want its rich natural wealth for themselves. With the war dragging on, Malastare's leaders try to keep the world neutral and put their effort into internal growth for the benefit of its people.[1]
