Dagobah is a world in the Outer Rim South sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Ord Mantell in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, hot, humid, bayous, swamp, bogs, jungles and dry uplands. Its species are listed as Tash (native) and Yoda's Specy. Its economy is listed as -. It sits at grid reference M-19 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Dagobah became an important hiding place for the famed Jedi Master Yoda. The distant world, with its thick swamps and dangerous terrain, offered a fitting refuge for the Jedi, who wanted solitude so he could protect himself and the surviving remnant of his order. The planet has a naturally strong tie to the Force, which lets Jedi develop their abilities. Dagobah is still a secluded, unmapped world, and larger galactic events have barely disturbed its green landscapes and ecosystems attuned to the Force.[1]
