Socorro is a world in the Wild Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Thila in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet and deserts. Its species are listed as Monnok (native) and Human. Its economy is listed as metals, high tech, water, nether ice and high tech skills. It sits at grid reference Q-17 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Socorro remains a vital gathering place for pirates, smugglers and outlaws, thanks to its distant position and lack of law. Its rough terrain suited anyone wanting to stay out of sight of Imperial and other authorities. As the Empire's war with the Rebel Alliance grew, Socorro grew into a still more valuable refuge for people hoping to profit from the disorder. Its residents, skilled at bargaining and trickery, kept playing every side of the conflict for their own gain, which secured Socorro's lasting name as a refuge for lawless types and illegal dealings.[1]
