History

Crime syndicates started to flourish, bringing more smuggling and black market trade. Friction between natives and new arrivals led to civil disorder and the occasional clash. With the wider war persisting, Daalang turned into a center of spying and covert operations, as different factions tried to win its loyalty or exploit its resources for their ends.^[1]
