The MC30c Frigate is the name the 25th Anniversary Community Patch gives to the CC-9600 Frigate, a Alliance capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] The ship keeps its original game data, so its figures are the same as on the original page.[2]

In the patch

The patch describes it as the MC30c Frigate and lists its length as 380 meters. The patch names its builder as Mon Calamari Shipyards.[1]

History

The Rebel Alliance was the main operator of the MC30c frigate, which is remembered for its part in several naval clashes with the Galactic Empire. Advanced shielding and considerable firepower, particularly torpedoes and missiles, suited it to hit-and-run tactics, so it did well when facing bigger Imperial warships. Thanks to this versatility and striking power, the MC30c became a central part of the Rebel fleet, especially after the Death Star was destroyed, when fast, agile ships that hit hard grew more and more important to the asymmetric warfare the Rebellion waged.[1]
