Bescane is a world in the Outer Rim North sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Zeffliffl in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, cool and urban. Its species are listed as Human. Its economy is listed as raw materials, biochemicals, food, atmospheric and hydrospherical replenishment, entertainment, heavy metals, ion fuel, bonded materials, mid-level tech, mass-produced materials and chemicals. It sits at grid reference K-3 and has 3 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Bescane, noted for a strong technology sector, undergoes a major change in its politics. Its people stayed mostly neutral, yet power shifted as opposition to the Imperial rulers grew. With the fighting spreading, factions hoping to strengthen themselves took an interest in Bescane's advanced technology and manufacturing. Its leaders walked a narrow line to stay neutral while both sides pressed them. Bescane quietly became an important participant in the galactic struggle, supplying technical resources and expertise to those who needed them while trying to dodge open confrontation.[1]
