Boonta is a world in the Outer Rim East sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Rishi in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, dry and baren wastelands. Its species are listed as Human and Hutt. Its economy is listed as -. It sits at grid reference S-8 and has 5 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Boonta saw a change in its politics and society, set off by the decline of the ruling galactic regime and the Rebellion's growth. The local government, first loyal to that regime, started to split internally as factions competed for power. Over this time the culture absorbed a mix of old and new customs, along with refugees arriving from nearby war zones. A growing population drove fast urbanization and new infrastructure. Technology, especially in communication and transport, progressed quickly and enabled closer connection and idea sharing. Despite continuing power struggles, Boonta kept some stability, and residents adjusted to the shifting political scene. The planet gained a reputation for resilience and adaptability in those turbulent years.[1]
