Flax is a star system in the Sumitra sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. Oceans cover the planet, but most of its land is desert, since high coastal mountains keep moisture from the seas from reaching the interior. The insectoid Flakax live there. After the Empire conquered Flax, it made the Flakax slave laborers and set them to mining the planet's underground minerals.[1]

In the game

Flax is a Rim system.[1][2] Its sector is used in every galaxy size.[3][4] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch puts a different world, Yavin Prime, in this system's place.[5]
