The Imperial Star Destroyer is an Imperial capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion. According to the in-game encyclopedia, the Imperial Navy is built around the wedge-shaped Imperial-class Star Destroyers, which measure 1,600 meters in length and carry more than a hundred weapon emplacements for fighting in deep space.[1] The 25th Anniversary patch renames it the Imperial I Star Destroyer but keeps its stats.[2]
In the game
The Imperial Star Destroyer costs 112 refined materials to build and 71 to maintain. It has a fighter capacity of 6 and a troop capacity of 3. Its shields have a strength of 300.[1] The infobox values come from the game data.[3]
In its fleet-building advice the manual describes Star Destroyers as ships that carry troops and fighters and can both attack and defend, though they are slow to produce and costly to keep up.[4] It suggests loading a fleet with as many TIE fighters as it can hold and keeping replacements ready for battle losses.[5]
The manual's ship table gives the same capacity: 6 fighters and 3 troops.[6]
