Utapau is a world in the Outer Rim South sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Ord Pardon in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, desert, grassy plains, large sinkholes and rocky. Its species are listed as Pau'an (native), Utai (native), Amani and Sugi. Its economy is listed as food, tech, chemicals, ores, minerals, salts and starships. It sits at grid reference N-19 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Utapau, a rugged world full of sinkholes, goes through a relatively calm period. A fierce battle was once fought there in which a prominent cyborg general died, and the indigenous Pau'ans along with the Utai now try to rebuild their society and bring back stability. As the balance of power and galactic priorities shifted, the planet lost its strategic role as a refueling stop. The inhabitants still use the lower levels of their world, protected by the deep chasms and caves that shape its landscape.[1]
