Mustafar is a world in the Outer Rim South sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Womrik in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, hot, caves, forests, glens, lava seas, molten rock plains, obsidian mountains and volcanoes. Its species are listed as Mustafarian (native), Alazmec, Falleen, Human and .... Its economy is listed as water, dolovite, lava, minerals and metal ore. It sits at grid reference L-19 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Mustafar still carries weight as an emblem of the Force's dark side. It is known as the setting of the ill-fated fight between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and was a site of pain and suffering. Once the Galactic Empire fell, the mining that had defined the economy of Mustafar dwindled, and the planet's infamy faded. Even so, people who wished to understand or exploit the dark side still found it interesting, since its surface of lava concealed secrets and artifacts tied to a dark past.[1]
