Nar Shaddaa is a world in the Hutt Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Douglas III in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as moon and ecumenopolis. Its species are listed as Gank (native), Human, Hutt, Jablogian, Palliduvan, Zabrak, Besalisk and Pa'lowick. Its economy is listed as contraband and spice. It sits at grid reference S-12 and has 4 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Nar Shaddaa remains a thriving center of criminal activity, and a retreat for people hoping to avoid the fighting between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Called the Smuggler's Moon, it has a crowded urban landscape that offered plenty of room for illegal deals and drew a mixed crowd of smugglers, hunters of bounties, and other denizens of the underworld. The Hutt Cartel had a strong foothold there and spread its power and influence across the moon's different districts. While the greater galactic struggle went on, Nar Shaddaa stayed firmly known as a sanctuary for people on society's edges, and most residents cared little about the wider war.[1]
