The Jedi Training mission is a teaching mission in Star Wars: Rebellion that improves the abilities of Force-using characters. See The Force.[1]

Targets and participants

It takes place in a friendly system containing Force-aware characters and either Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader. The manual says one of the two should go with at least one Force-aware student, and that the mission is meant to strengthen the students' Force.[2] The in-game encyclopedia says the mission can be formed whenever Vader or Luke is with other Force-using characters, and they may gain Force ability.[1]

Background

A character who is found to be Force-aware receives the Novice Force ranking and immediate gains in leadership, combat and espionage; training raises them further.[3] Luke can discover potential Force users before he is strong enough to train them.[4]

Failure

The mission is aborted if the training system is bombarded or assaulted.[2] The encyclopedia adds that it is also foiled if the enemy takes control of the system.[1]
