Ghorman is a star system in the Sesswenna sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. It was the scene of the infamous Ghorman massacre, an early Imperial atrocity in which then-Governor Tarkin deliberately set his ship down on a crowd of peaceful protesters. Opponents of Emperor Palpatine's New Order mark the anniversary each year. The massacre persuaded Bail Organa of Alderaan to join the Alliance.[1]
In the game
Ghorman is a Core system.[1][2] Its sector is used in every galaxy size.[3][4] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch puts a different world, Esseles, in this system's place.[5] The patch also has a world of the same name in a different place: Ghorman (patch version).[5]
