Vinsoth is a world in the Mandalorian Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Ithor in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, semi-tropical, temperate, deserts, grassy plains, mountains and polar ice caps. Its species are listed as Chev (native) and Chevin (native). Its economy is listed as -. It sits at grid reference N-5 and has 4 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Vinsoth remains a peaceful, farming-based world with distinctive and exotic plant life. This calm allowed its people to carry on their ancestral lifestyle with little interference from the larger conflicts. Although the planet took no direct part in the fight pitting the Rebellion against the Empire, its abundant biodiversity and promise for scientific study drew scholars and researchers. The resulting quiet exchange of knowledge with other worlds helped Vinsoth preserve both its cultural character and its scientific legacy through the troubled era.[1]
