Cyphar is a world in the Outer Rim West sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Anoat in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, dry, grasslands, deserts and canyons. Its species are listed as Cyphari (native) and Human. Its economy is listed as -. It sits at grid reference L-17 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Cyphar was a stony planet with a punishing climate and a rich history. Smugglers and criminals found it a refuge, using its distance to evade the authorities. Its rough terrain and dangerous wildlife suited it to troop training and weapons testing, so the Empire built several military bases there. The Rebel Alliance was present as well and ran its own covert operations from the planet. Though strategically important, Cyphar stayed mostly unknown to the wider galaxy, which made it a mysterious and perilous place for any who ventured to it.[1]
