Jakku is a world in the Deep Core sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Corfai in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, arid and desert. Its species are listed as Teedo (native), Uthuthma (native), Abednedo, Crolute, Human, Hutt, Kyuzo, Melitto, Nu-Cosian and Dybrinthe. Its economy is listed as food, luxury, tech, water, bezorite, junk metal, kesium gas, magnite, osmiridium, salvaged tech and silicon. It sits at grid reference I-13 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Jakku stayed a distant, barren world that the wider galactic war mostly left alone. During the Galactic Civil War its remoteness gave some shelter to people fleeing the upheaval, although the severe desert made life hard. Scavengers scraped by in the wreckage of ancient battles, pulling useful materials from the debris. For all its hostile conditions, Jakku sheltered a mix of people, among them exiles, outlaws and other marginal figures. The world remained on the edge of galactic affairs, well away from the heart of the struggle.[1]
