Byss is a world in the Deep Core sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Selonia in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, urban sprawls, plateau reserves, canyons and lakes. Its species are listed as Human and .... Its economy is listed as high tech, food and weapons. It sits at grid reference K-11 and has 1 hyperlane.[1]

History

Byss became the headquarters of a ruthless military organization, which used the planet to construct and dispatch new instruments of war. Where the planet lay gave it strategic value for the organization's plans. The organization fortified it so thoroughly that attack was nearly impossible, and it served as the launch point for a number of huge military campaigns. Because it functioned as a military base, its existence was kept hidden and known to only a few. It stayed a key site for the organization until later events altered the balance of power across the universe.[1]
