Crait is a world in the Outer Rim South sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Filve in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, hot, dry and salt flats. Its species are listed as -. Its economy is listed as rhodochrosite and sodium. It sits at grid reference N-17 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Crait rose to prominence as a concealed Rebellion base. The world is remote and almost uninhabited, with extensive salt flats and a web of underground caves. The Rebels converted a disused mine into a secret outpost that served as a short-term command post for their campaign against the Empire. Eventually they moved elsewhere and Crait was abandoned once more. Its historical importance still attracted scholars and collectors, and many people hunted for relics of the Rebel stay, such as artifacts and equipment they had used.[1]
