Glee Anselm is a world in the Mid Rim North sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Gandolo IV in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, jungle, grassy fields, mountains and oceans. Its species are listed as Anslemi (native) and Nautolan (native). Its economy is listed as tech, food, medicine and water. It sits at grid reference J-7 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Glee Anselm passes through an era of comparative calm and prosperity. Its inhabitants kept their independence from the Galactic Empire and avoided open fighting and occupation. The planet's mix of land and sea let its water-dwelling and land-dwelling peoples live together peacefully, each gaining from the varied ecosystem. In this period it became a favored destination for refugees and others looking for sanctuary from Imperial rule. Its government stayed mostly neutral in the war pitting the Rebel Alliance against the Empire and concentrated on keeping the planet stable and self-sufficient. As tension mounted throughout the galaxy, Glee Anselm stood as an emblem of hope and resilience that encouraged others to oppose tyranny and oppression.[1]
