Coruscant is a world in the Core Worlds North sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Coruscant in the original game.[2] The patch gives it the same name as the original game's world in that slot.

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate and ecumenopolis. Its species are listed as Human (native), Taung (native), Zhell (native) and .... Its economy is listed as food, medical and culture. It sits at grid reference L-9 and has 6 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Coruscant served as the capital world of the Empire, blanketed with huge structures and towering skyscrapers. Once the Empire came into being, Emperor Palpatine relied on the planet's infrastructure to keep the galaxy under his control. Imperial forces patrolled it heavily, and it hosted many military installations. In spite of this, Rebel agents kept carrying out clandestine operations there, and the world stayed a pivotal battleground of the Galactic Civil War.[1]
