Bothawui is a world in the Bothan Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Mantessa in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, plains, mountains, forests and urban. Its species are listed as Bothan (native) and Human. Its economy is listed as high tech, info and mid tech. It sits at grid reference R-14 and has 4 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Bothawui went through a time of greater importance. As a leading center of intelligence work, the Bothan Spy Network had a vital part in gathering and spreading critical information. Several factions recognized the planet's strategic value and tried to ally with the Bothans. Its political scene shifted, and Bothawui became a focus of diplomatic talks while factions competed for control of that scene. Its sophisticated technology and communication networks made it a key asset in the continuing war. Espionage and deception also increased as groups tried to undercut each other. The people of Bothawui consequently found themselves in a delicate spot, weighing their own interests against the demands of strong allies. Security tightened, and the planet became an emblem of the shifting alliances and strains within the galaxy.[1]
