Cato Neimoidia is a world in the Colonies sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Omwat in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, acidic oceans, canyons, cliffs, grasslands, forests and rock arches. Its species are listed as Neimoidian. Its economy is listed as labor, ore, raw materials, luxury, droids, food and tech. It sits at grid reference N-11 and has 1 hyperlane.[1]

History

Cato Neimoidia was once a rich world famed for lavish cities and grand architecture, and its political and social life changed greatly. The Neimoidians, who held influence in the Trade Federation, lost power as that organization fell into disorder. After the Confederacy of Independent Systems collapsed, the world's standing in the galaxy dropped. Under the Galactic Empire, the formerly prosperous planet suffered economic stagnation because harsh Imperial control choked off commerce and trade. Growing discontent among the population gave rise to numerous resistance movements aiming to return the world to its earlier stature. These groups worked in secret to erode Imperial authority, hoping to shift the galaxy's balance of power.[1]
