Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, forests, jungles, oceans and industrial urban. Its species are listed as Human (native), Drall (native), Selonian (native) and .... Its economy is listed as luxury, raw materials, weaponry, agricultural goods, alcohol and starships. It sits at grid reference M-11 and has 3 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Corellia undergoes a significant change in its political and social life. It is the birthplace of well-known figures such as Han Solo and Wedge Antilles and held an important position in the galaxy. The Empire ruled the world, but Rebel victories encouraged local resistance movements to redouble their efforts. Imperial attempts to smother the growing dissent by sending more forces only caused further unrest and a spiral of rising tension. Known for being strong-willed and independent, the Corellians grew more and more united in opposing the tyrannical regime. The upheaval produced numerous factions, each competing to control the resources and strategic position of the system. Even amid this turmoil Corellia stayed a vital hub of shipbuilding and engineering, where a skilled workforce kept producing cutting-edge technology.[1]
