History
Dennogra's politics changed considerably. The Galactic Empire had controlled the planet, but rebel activity spread and anti-Imperial feeling grew. Natives took advantage of the weakened Empire to demand more autonomy and self-rule. Local resistance groups united in a coalition and fought a series of clashes with the Imperial forces that were left. In the end the united resistance won, forced the Empire off the surface, and set up a new government. Freedom brought a revival of cultural customs, a flowering of the arts and advances in technology. The planet's leaders nonetheless stayed watchful for threats from outside and sought ties with like-minded anti-Imperial groups to protect their independence and safety.[1]
