Scarif is a world in the Bothan Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Ryloth in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, tropical, oceans, rocky archipelagos, sandy beaches, verdant jungles and volcanic islands. Its species are listed as Human. Its economy is listed as starships and death star supplies. It sits at grid reference S-15 and has 3 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Scarif lost much of its strategic value. The Galactic Empire had earlier relied heavily on it for clandestine research and development, including work on the Death Star, including work on the Death Star. When the Death Star was later destroyed, activity on the planet fell off, as the Empire turned its attention to other places and projects. Scarif nonetheless stayed under Imperial control and kept its military sites and laboratories. Though less active, it kept its image as a heavily defended, impregnable fortress, inspiring dread and respect in those aware that it existed.[1]
