GenCore Level I

GenCore Level I is a planetary defense facility in Star Wars: Rebellion, available to both sides. GenCores produce planetary shields that guard a system against orbital bombardment. The Type I is an excellent defensive choice, but it is costly to maintain.[1]
In the game
It costs 12 refined materials to build and 12 to maintain.[1] The infobox values come from the game data.[2] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch update does not rewrite this data file.[3]
Two shields on a system make a planetary assault impossible, though a determined enemy may knock one out by bombardment or sabotage. Both sides can build the Level I shield from the start of the game.[4][5]
