The Vindicator Heavy Cruiser is the name the 25th Anniversary Community Patch gives to the Strike Cruiser, a Empire capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] The ship keeps its original game data, so its figures are the same as on the original page.[2]

In the patch

The patch describes it as the Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser and lists its length as 600 meters. The patch names its builder as Rendili StarDrive.[1]

History

The Galactic Empire was the principal user of the Vindicator-class cruisers, which formed a core element of its formidable fleet. The class was noted for combining firepower, speed and defensive strength, which let it adapt to many combat situations. Vindicators were frequently sent into important battles against the Rebel Alliance, particularly following the destruction of the Death Star. Their place in the Imperial fleet highlighted how the Empire depended on balanced, heavily armed ships to keep its hold on the galaxy.[1]
