The Victory I Star Destroyer is the name the 25th Anniversary Community Patch gives to the Victory Destroyer, a Empire capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] The ship keeps its original game data, so its figures are the same as on the original page.[2]

In the patch

The patch describes it as the Victory I-class Star Destroyer and lists its length as 900 meters. The patch names its builder as Kuat Drive Yards.[1]

History

Designed originally in the closing years of the Galactic Republic, the Star Destroyers of the Victory I-class later became a core component of the Imperial Navy. Turbolasers along with launchers for concussion missiles gave them considerable firepower and made them a serious danger in many battles. Because they were capable in planetary sieges as well as space combat, the Galactic Empire could keep a strong presence in numerous sectors. After the Death Star was destroyed they went on enforcing Imperial dominance, taking part in major operations against insurgents, including the Rebel Alliance. Using them reflected an Imperial military strategy built on overwhelming force and control.[1]
