Galaxy size
Galaxy size is a setting chosen when a game of Star Wars: Rebellion is started. It sets how many sectors the galaxy contains, and each sector holds 10 systems.[1]
Sizes
The three sizes are standard, large and huge.[2][3]
| Size | Sectors | Systems |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 10 | 100 |
| Large | 15 | 150 |
| Huge | 20 | 200 |
These figures come from the multiplayer setup description.[3] The single-player description gives the same totals, listing the sizes as 10 sectors with 100 systems, 15 with 150 and 20 with 200.[2] The sector counts are repeated in the System Finder description, and the tutorial calls the smallest game 10 sectors and the largest 20.[4][1]
Choosing the size
In single-player games the size is set in the Shuttle Cockpit, by clicking the galaxy wanted or pulling the lever on the left. Standard is the default.[5][2] In head-to-head games the host picks the size on the Multiplayer Options screen.[3]
Effects
- A larger galaxy increases the resources a side has at the start in proportion to its size.[2]
- Each side receives randomly chosen extra characters at the start: one in a standard galaxy, two in a large one and four in a huge one.[6] An earlier passage gives the same counts of one, two and four but labels the sizes small, medium and large.[7]
