Mandalore is a world in the Mandalorian Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds F'tral in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, storms, crystals, glass and trinitite. Its species are listed as Alamite (native) and Human. Its economy is listed as raw materials, mercenaries and starships. It sits at grid reference O-7 and has 3 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Mandalore passes through an era of political turbulence. The Mandalorians, long famed for their martial culture and skill, were troubled by internal strife as factions inside their society competed for power and influence. While the Empire and the Alliance kept fighting, Mandalore's leaders tried to protect the planet's autonomy and stay clear of the wider galactic struggle. The strategic value and cultural importance of the planet nonetheless made both sides target it, with skirmishes and covert operations taking place on Mandalorian soil. Throughout, the warrior tradition endured, shaping Mandalorian politics and influencing how power was distributed in the galaxy. Deciding that Mandalore could never be wholly mastered, and fearing the Mandalorians might join forces with other seditious parties, the Empire pounded the world into submission in what is remembered as the Purge of Mandalore.[1]
