Balmorra is a world in the Colonies sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Tangrene in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate, canyons, industrial, plains, mountains and urban. Its species are listed as Colicoid, Human, Hutt and Twi'lek. Its economy is listed as food, tech and weapons. It sits at grid reference M-10 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Balmorra saw a change in the balance of power. The planet's advanced weapons manufacturing drew interest from the Galactic Empire and from the Rebel Alliance alike. As tensions rose, the Empire tried to impose its authority and obtain Balmorra's resources and technology. The Balmorrans, however, prized their independence and resisted these efforts. Local resistance fighters cooperated with the Rebel Alliance, carrying out secret operations and small battles to prevent the Empire from taking over. Throughout the period the world was a center of fighting and spying, with each side contending for its valuable assets.[1]
