Coruscant
Coruscant is a star system in the Sesswenna sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. For generations it has been the seat of galactic government. One enormous multileveled city, Imperial City, covers the whole surface; its foundations date back to the start of the Old Republic, more than a thousand generations ago. The pyramid-shaped Imperial Palace, the Emperor's home and an impregnable fortress, is built of gray-green stone and glittering crystal and rises above every other building, the Senate included. The deepest, darkest levels of the city were abandoned long ago and now hold discarded equipment, wrecked starships, and nameless subhumans slipping through the shadows.[1]
In the game
Coruscant is a Core system.[1][2] Its sector is used in every galaxy size.[3][4]
Coruscant always begins the game 100 percent loyal to the Empire.[5] The Emperor starts the game there.[6] While he is on Coruscant itself, not captured, and the Empire controls it, all Imperial characters get a leadership bonus.[7] To win, the Alliance player must capture and hold Coruscant, along with the Emperor and Darth Vader.[8]
