Belsavis is a world in the Outer Rim West sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.^[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds New Cov in the original game.^[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, cold, frozen and tropical rift valleys. Its species are listed as Miuki (native), Duro, Esh-kha, Ho'din, Human, Ithorian and Rakata. History

Belsavis, a world of volcanic and icy terrain, rises to prominence. The Galactic Empire held the planet and guarded the secret of an ancient prison complex under its surface. The Rakata species built this complex, and it held perilous convicts and users of the dark side, along with secrets and artifacts from all over the galaxy. When the Rebel Alliance learned about the prison, it tried to free the inmates in order to swell its ranks and gain valuable knowledge. Fighting between the two powers followed, shaping Belsavis in the years after.^[1]
