SWRebellion.net downloads and conversions (2001) describes what the SWRebellion community offered for download in early 2001 and which total conversions it listed, as shown on two archived pages of swrebellion.net. All of it concerns RebEd and Star Wars: Rebellion card making.

The Files page (March 2001)

The Files page listed these items, with the file dates printed on the page:[1]

  • rebed_setup.zip (27 July 1999, 1.02 MB), the complete install of version 0.26;
  • dllentries.zip (5 August 1999, 2.3 KB), a combined DLLEntries.txt;
  • rebed.chm (24 April 1999, 184 KB), the RebED help file;
  • rulhm.zip (19 April 1999, 394 KB), a unit library tool that makes HTML pages and thumbnails from cards;
  • rebedcardviewer.exe (24 February 1999, 32 KB), the card viewer;
  • resxplorer.exe (14 October 1998, 177 KB), the Resource Explorer for digging pictures out of the game's DLL files;
  • an "Unofficial SWR Strategy Guide" by xiriod.

A further section offered templates for card making dated 7 May 2000: backgrounds (2.52 MB), character cut-outs (486 KB) and rank cylinders and badges (102 KB). An image library held picture sets for card art, such as lightsaber images, comic and manga covers, trading-card sets and a Jedi Council set. Other downloads included a freeware tool that resizes pictures into squares, a calendar made from card images, a Star Wars sabacc game, a Direct3D viewer for extracted .x models and the DirectX 7a runtime.[1]

The TCs page (June 2001)

The page was titled "TCs (RebED Total & Partial Conversions)" and invited authors to have their conversions hosted or mirrored. It credited conversions by handle: Sith Uprising and Clone Wars by EW, Episode I by Logray, Shattered Void by Void ZoSo, Special Edition by its credited author, and Warlords by Eville Jedi. A group marked NEW listed Wing Commander TC, Aftermath, Rogue Squadron, The Cantina Cloud and The Return of Jerec, without credits on the page.[2] The FAQ's description of how conversions are saved is in Total conversion.
