Dantooine is a star system in the Mayagil sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. It is an attractive blue and brown planet, far from busy galactic routes and lacking industry or advanced technology. Savannas of lavender grass and blba trees cover it. About four millennia ago, the Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas set up a training center among its ruins. Centuries later it was for a time an Alliance base, evacuated at some point after the Death Star went into service.[1]

In the game

Dantooine is a Rim system.[1][2] Its sector is used in every galaxy size.[3][4] The 25th Anniversary Community Patch puts a different world, Kashyyyk, in this system's place.[5] The patch also has a world of the same name in a different place: Dantooine (patch version).[5]
