Neimoidia is a world in the Colonies sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Balfron in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, humid, deserts, fields and rainforests. Its species are listed as Neimoidian (native) and Duro. Its economy is listed as tech, food, medicine, botanicals and starships. It sits at grid reference M-10 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Neimoidia is losing prominence as the Trade Federation weakens. It was the native planet of the Neimoidians, who were central to how the Trade Federation ran. As the Galactic Empire kept consolidating its power, the Trade Federation was dissolved, and Neimoidia and its people had to cope with a changed political situation. Many Neimoidians lost their fortunes and standing, and some survived by turning to crime or joining other factions. Neimoidia endured regardless, adjusting to shifting circumstances as the fight between the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire went on.[1]
