Death Star Sabotage mission
The Death Star Sabotage mission is an Alliance-only mission in Star Wars: Rebellion that destroys a Death Star.[1]
Targets and participants
Only the Alliance may perform it. The target Death Star's location must be known, and it cannot be in hyperspace.[2] The combat and espionage ratings of the characters and special forces count.[1][2] A success ends with the Death Star destroyed.[2]
Role in the game
The manual says the Alliance cannot shield a system from an attacking Death Star, but may try this mission to destroy the weapon. A tactical-battle alternative is the fighter "Death Star run." Where the Empire has put Death Star shields on the system, only this mission lets the Alliance destroy the weapon.[3] The ordinary Sabotage mission cannot target a Death Star.[4]
