History
Delaya is the one world still able to sustain life in the Alderaan system. Since the Death Star destroyed Alderaan, the debris has been known as the Graveyard. A number of survivors were uprooted and had to resettle on Delaya. The influx of refugees swelled the population considerably and strained the planet's resources as it absorbed the newcomers. In spite of the difficulties, Delaya's people labored to restore their settlements and begin a new way of living after the tragic loss of the neighboring planet. Alderaan had shifted much of its industry onto Delaya, so the world has vast numbers of people and extensive urban areas containing factories and warehouses alongside housing.[1]
