History

Eadu, noted for its stormy climate and dangerous terrain, hosted an Imperial research facility devoted to developing advanced weapons. Once the first Death Star had been destroyed, the Empire hurried to regroup and hold onto its dispersed assets, the Eadu research facility among them. Security was raised, yet the facility was repeatedly hit by skirmishes and espionage operations carried out by the Rebel Alliance, which wanted to hinder Imperial attempts to rebuild its devastating weapon. Because of this, Eadu received more troops and fortifications and saw more frequent covert missions. At the same time, the native inhabitants suffered more oppression and exploitation as the Empire tightened its control.^[1]
