Mimban is a world in the Inner Rim sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Bothawui in the original game.[2]
Details
The patch lists its geology as planet, humid, mud fields, rainforests and swamps. Its species are listed as Greenie (native), Mimbanese (native), Coway (native) and Human. Its economy is listed as hyperbaride, food, industrial equipment, dolovite and swamp gas. It sits at grid reference O-12 and has 2 hyperlanes.[1]
History
Mimban's history was one of ongoing strife and instability. The Empire kept its forces on the world in order to profit from the rich resources buried in its deep mines. In spite of the hardship, the people living there opposed Imperial rule and joined various resistance factions to fight the oppressive regime. The continuing fight for Mimban turned the planet into a battleground for clashes pitting Imperial forces against the Rebel Alliance. In the midst of the disorder, ordinary residents endured many hardships and losses, and their world stayed at the center of the larger galactic war.[1]
