Nal Hutta is a world in the Hutt Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Engira in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, hot, humid and swamps. Its species are listed as Hutt (native) and .... Its economy is listed as contraband, food, high tech, luxury, spice and tourism. It sits at grid reference S-12 and has 4 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Nal Hutta keeps its standing as a refuge for criminals and as the base of the Hutt Cartel. The Hutts' criminal empire was mostly untouched by the larger galactic war, because their influence reached across the whole underworld. In this period the Cartel went on with illegal business that includes smuggling, gambling, and slavery, and also struck deals with other crime syndicates. The planet's notoriety as a center for illegal dealings grew, drawing bounty hunters, mercenaries, and similar unsavory figures who wanted shelter or employment away from the fighting between Imperial and Rebel forces.[1]
