History
Sy Myrth is still mostly unaffected by the war the Rebel Alliance waged against the Empire. Its people kept practicing their unusual form of democracy, in which competitive games decide who holds political power. Throughout the war Sy Myrth largely stayed neutral, yet its government felt pressure from the Empire and from the Rebel Alliance, both hoping to win the planet over to its cause. In spite of that outside pressure, Sy Myrth held on to its independence, concentrating on domestic matters and protecting its distinctive political customs.[1]
